(CBS) Northwestern senior tight end Drake Dunsmore was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after catching four touchdowns in the Wildcats’ 59-38 win at Indiana Saturday.
The four receiving touchdowns were a Northwestern single-game record and were the most touchdown receptions in a single-game in the Big Ten this season.
Dunsmore finished the game with seven catches for 112 yards. The 112 receiving yards were the most by a Northwestern tight end ever.

If Northwestern could play a team with high school kids in the secondary every week, they’d always have a player of the week! Let’s see what his numbers look like next week before we grant him All-Big Ten status.
