CHICAGO (CBS) The White Sox officially named Jeff Manto as the team’s hitting coach, Joe McEwing as third base coach and Mark Parent as bench coach Monday.

The hirings complete new manager Robin Ventura’s coaching staff.

Manto has served as the team’s minor-league hitting coordinator the last four seasons. He was the Pittsburgh Pirates’ hitting coach from 2006-07.

McEwing was the manager of the White Sox’s Triple-A Charlotte Knights in 2011 and is currently managing the Mesa Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League.

Parent comes over from the Philadelphia Phillies organization where he managed Double-A Reading in 2011 and Single-A Lakewood in 2010.
