R.I.P. Steve… We’ll never know for sure, but most likely you went back in to get your cat. Hopefully you’re laughing with John in a better place.

Sorry we didn’t get there in time Steve. We tried our best to save you and your cat. we found the cat after we pulled you out. The little guy was a fighter. R.I.P. to the both of you.

Georgie, I could not believe my eyes when I saw your name on the message. This Steve that you pulled out of the fire and tried to save was my cousin. Knowing that God sent you to get my cousin out of that fire has touched my heart. It is a little easier to handle knowing that my cousin did not die alone he had you there with him. Thank you Georgie for sacrificing your life for my cousin, you will never know how much it means to me.
