Man Dies After Being Shot In Lawndale Drive-By

CHICAGO (STMW) – A man died after being shot in a drive-by the Southwest Side Lawndale neighborhood early Saturday.

The man, identified as Emandrell Crum, 22, of an unknown address, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, was shot in his side the 1300 block of South Troy Street about 2:14 a.m., police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said. He was initially taken to Mount Sinai hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2:57 a.m.

He and a 23-year-old woman were struck by rounds fired from a passing green vehicle, Mirabelli said. The woman sustained a graze wound to her head and went to Mount Sinai Hospital on her own, where she was in “stable” condition Saturday morning.

Harrison Area detectives are investigating.

Yes the link card species. I was wondering if it was that white girl that I see on Troy St. that uses her link card at the Arab store on Kedzie.

it was probably a gang-related argument over whether who has better fried chicken…Popeye’s or KFC…:D

Chicago is turning into one huge cesspool of criminals put a fence around it and take away their right to vote.
    By the way.
Hi there Chicago it’s me from down state illinois. Hows the anti gun laws working out for ya. When will you idiots up there wake up and see your anti carry laws only dis arm the law abiding guys and keep the bad guys with their guns safer?
Like hell take my family to Chicago for family fun. Getting them all killed in a drive up like so many others I read about doesn’t sound like fun to me oh yeah and in Chicago the criminals carry guns but I can’t hahaha NO THANK YOU CHICAGO!

Rahm is more worried about getting those cameras to work so he can catch you hurrying home from the restaurants to use the bathroom than to clean up the cesspool. Why aren’t those cameras watching the neighborhood instead of working people running behind to get to works license plates. Running behind because the big potholes in the road.

Why is Barak even running again? He’s done enough damage.
