Two Men Sought In Plainfield Robbery
PLAINFIELD (CBS) -- Police in southwest suburban Plainfield are looking for two men accused of robbing a woman of her wallet on Friday afternoon.
It happened about 1:30 p.m. in the 16200 block of South Lincoln Highway in the parking lot of the Lily Cache Plaza, a release from Plainfield police said.
The woman told police she was approached by two men who demanded she turn over her belongings. After getting her wallet, the men got into a maroon or small purple four-door sedan, which drove off south on Lily Cache Road at a high rate of speed.
No weapons were displayed or implied by the men, the release said.
Both are white, and about 5-foot-9 with a thin build. They were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.
