Police: One Dead, Another Injured In Roseland Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) – One man is dead and another seriously wounded after a shooting in Roseland neighborhood Tuesday night on the Far South Side.
Police said two men were shot about 6:50 p.m. near South Lowe Avenue and West 117th Street.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said one of the men, believed to be in his 20s, was killed. He remained unidentified Tuesday night.
The other man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County with a gunshot wound to the abdomen area, police said.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
