(WSCR) OK, let’s try this again.
Just about two weeks ago, the Hawks and Canucks were preparing for their first game of the season. After three consecutive years with head-to-head playoff series’ including a Game 7 overtime game last season, it couldn’t be anything but the game of the century. The Hawks wanted revenge, and the new “sandpaper” were going to make their marks. Well, it didn’t quite go that way.
The Canucks took it to the Blackhawks from the puck drop to the final horn. When the smoke cleared, Vancouver won 6-2, and maybe it wasn’t even that close.
