Teens Shoot Man After Taking His Jacket, Watch

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three teenagers robbed a man of his jacket and watch then shot him multiple times in the West Pullman neighborhood Monday afternoon on the Far South Side.

The 28-year-old man was walking in the 11500 block of South LaSalle when three teenagers approached about 12:10 p.m. and demanded his black leather jacket and black watch, police said.

The man gave his jacket and watch to the robbers, who then shot him multiple times and ran away, police said.

Paramedics initially took the man in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was able to talk to detectives.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Monday night.
