Florio: Lions Have Shot At Packers

(WSCR) With the Bears fighting the Lions for a wildcard playoff spot, Thursday’s Lions-Packers match up has interesting implications.

The Packers are undefeated, but one NFL expert thinks the Lions have a shot at dethroning the defending champions.

“I think they do because the game is at home,” Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. “The place will be going crazy like it was when they played the Bears on Oct. 10, Monday Night Football. This is the first meaningful Thanksgiving day game since, what, the Scott Mitchell era? Or the Barry Sanders era? I think the Lions will be geared up.”
