Lombardi: Cutler Was Playing At ‘MVP Level’

(WSCR) It’s no secret that before his injury, Jay Cutler was play at the highest level Bears fans have seen from him in Chicago.

One NFL expert even mentioned the words MVP when discussing Cutler.

“They still control their fate,” Michael Lombardi told The Mully and Hanley Show. “The Bears are still built to be good in the kicking game. They need to run the football effectively, but this Jay Cutler loss is really tough because I really thought he was playing at an MVP-type level.”

    Michael Lombardi is an idiot. Cutler was playing at an excellent level. He was NOT playing at an MVP level, if that threshold is the level at which Rodgers is playing.
