Loop CTA Trains Back To Normal After Switching Problem
Updated 11-24-11 at 12:52 p.m.
CHICAGO (STMW) - Normal operations on four Loop L lines have resumed Thursday afternoon after switching problems caused some delays earlier.
Brown, Green, Orange and Pink Line trains were experiencing "minor" delays due to the problem near Adams and Wabash, according to a CTA customer alert issued about 11 a.m.
By about noon, the CTA said normal operations had resumed but residual delays may still occur.
The transit agency recommends allowing for extra travel time.
