Man Seriously Injured In Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was seriously injured when he was shot in the chest Wednesday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The man was shot in the chest about 6:35 p.m. in the 5700 block of South Winchester Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala, citing preliminary information.
He was initially in serious condition on the scene, but hospital information was not immediately available.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
