FRANKFORT (CBS) — Police say a woman walked out to her car to find a man rifling through the backseat Sunday in southwest suburban Joliet.

The 27-year-old woman came out at 7 p.m. to lock her vehicle in a parking lot in the 7700 block of West Jefferson Court and found Christopher R. DeCesare, 24, “rummaging through her belongings,” Will County Sheriff’s police said.

When the victim yelled for her boyfriend, DeCesare ran, police say. The boyfriend reportedly tackled him at Graceland and Frankfort Square as the victim called police.

According to reports, a debit card and an ID belonging to two other women who live within a few blocks were also found in DeCesare’s bag.

DeCesare, of the 7600 block of West Moorefield Drive, was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary.
