Man Robbed, Shot For Designer Jacket On West Side

CHICAGO (CBS) — Police say a thief was after a designer jacket when he shot a man in the chest on busy Madison Street on the city’s West Side.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Madison Street, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

The 25 year old victim was standing at a bus stop when the gunman demanded the man’s designer jacket. After a brief scuffle, the man handed it over, according to police.

But the gunman shot him anyway.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where he was reported in stable condition. He is expected to survive.

Harrison Area police detectives have launched an investigation. The gunman remained at large as of the latest report.

Typical pathetic black African negro, shooting someone for their jacket. What is going on over there at CBS? The negro’s description is the most relevant part of the story! How is the public supposed to help without it??

And the politicians still think the criminals don’t carry guns.
Either they don’t read the news or they just don’t care.
