I-PASS Glitch Causes Unneeded Charges On Accounts

CHICAGO (CBS) — I-PASS users are being asked to check their accounts today after a software problem was found in the system.

The glitch caused users to incur unnecessary charges and refunds from the tollway on their credit and debit cards.

Tollway officials say about 5,000 I-PASS accounts have been affected.

The tollway is working to make sure I-PASS accounts have been correctly refunded.
