SOLDIER FIELD (CBS) Bears wide receiver Devin Hester is active despite tweaking an ankle injury this week and missing Friday’s practice.

Hester was listed as questionable coming into the game, but will give it a go. Keep an eye on him throughout the game to see how comfortable he is.

Also active for the Bears today is quarterback Josh McCown. Nathan Enderle remains active as well, meaning the Bears have two quarterbacks available if Caleb Hanie needs help. It’s possible this means Hanie is on a short leash today, but it’s also important to note that the Bears only had to deactivate six players instead of seven because they released Sam Hurd Friday and have not filled his roster spot yet.

As far as the inactives go, both Henry Melton and Major Wright are out. Melton missed practice all week with a shin injury, while Wright was listed as probable Friday. Craig Steltz will once again start in Wright’s place while Amobi Okoye will start for Melton.

The Bears other inactives include Jay Cutler, Matt Forte, Levi Horn and Andre Smith.
