Man Shot And Killed In Garfield Park

CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was shot and killed Saturday morning outside a cell phone shop in the West Side Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 27-year-old man was shot and killed about 10:30 a.m. outside Easy Com at 525 S. Cicero Ave., police said. He was apparently shot in the head and possible elsewhere in his body after another man approached him on foot, fired, snd then fled.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office had not been notified of the death as of about 11:15 a.m.

No one is in custody and Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
