Crawford Gets Start Tonight; Pirri Recalled

(CBS) Corey Crawford will get the start in net tonight as the Blackhawks return to the ice against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It will be Crawford's second consecutive start after the goaltender beat the Montreal Canadiens 5-1 last Wednesday night. The Blackhawks have been off since that game for the Christmas weekend.

The Blackhawks also recalled forward Brandon Pirri from Rockford Monday, but it is unclear if he will play tonight.

Pirri has two assists and a +2 plus/minus rating in two games with the Blackhawks this year. He led the Blackhawks with four goals and five points in four preseason games this year as well.

Tonight's game at the United Center starts at 7:30.
