CHICAGO (CBS) — Gunshots rang out late Tuesday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, leaving two men injured.
The men were driving in a conversion van near 50th and Halsted streets around 11:05 p.m. Someone in a Dodge headed in the opposite direction on 50th Street opened fire, police said.
One of the men was wounded in the leg and buttocks, the other in the shoulder, police said.
Both victims are in their 50s. They were reported in stable condition at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, and their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
There was no word early Wednesday on a possible suspect or suspects.
