PORTAGE, Ind. (CBS) – A Griffith, Ind. woman was found dead from an apparent drug overdose Wednesday morning in a Portage hotel room.
Crystal Djordjevic, 35, was found unresponsive about 11:30 a.m. along with a man in a hotel room at the Days Inn, 6161 Melton Road.
The man was revived and taken to a local hospital, but Djordjevic was pronounced dead at the scene.
Coroner Chuck Harris said drug paraphernalia was in the room. He said Djordjevic’s husband was notified of her death.
An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday, and a toxicology screen will be conducted as well, Harris said.
