Man Hit By Bus, Critically Hurt At Navy Pier

CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was critically injured after being hit by a CTA bus at Navy Pier early Sunday.

The accident happened about 12:49 a.m. at Navy Pier, according to Fire Media Affairs. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious-to-critical condition.

CTA spokeswoman Molly Sullivan said the accident happened in the bus turnaround at Navy Pier as hordes of people walked through the area. A man walked between two buses and was hit by one, she said.

According to Sullivan, the man’s injuries were minor.

Police said a male was hit by a bus there and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but did not know his condition.
