Man Shot And Killed In Back Of The Yards
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot and killed Saturday morning in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The 23-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and knee at 4432 S. Wood St. about 5:29 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.
He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he was pronounced dead, Sullivan said.
Efren Madrigal, of 3134 W. 53rd Place, was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 6:14 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
No one is in custody Monday morning Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
