Zawaski: More Kids On The Way For Blackhawks

By Jay Zawaski-

With Daniel Carcillo's future up in the air with his injury and impending suspension, and now Steve Montador and Marcus Kruger being placed on IR, the Blackhawks have recalled defenseman Dylan Olsen and forward Andrew Shaw.

Olsen is an interesting call up.  He's been pretty good in the last two preseasons, and has a fascinating skill set.  He can move the puck well, and plays with an edge.  It remains to be seen if he's NHL ready.  Rockford experts say that while his game is still very raw, he's made giant steps this season.

Shaw is a tough guy.  He will try to fill the physical void Carcillo's absence creates.  He has 80 PIMs to go with his 21 points so far this season.  For the Hawks, his PIMs will likely go up, and his points way down.
