Balmoral Woods in Crete has been a favorite golf facility for Chicagoland golfers since 1975.

The mission of the Mortell Family, which has owned and managed this fine facility since it opened, has been to provide superb, Country Club quality golf for a great value. Having hosted numerous local events, the par 72, 6700 yard 131 slope championship course has stood the test of time. The greens are slick and true, fairways are tight with towering mature oaks trees, and water which comes into play on 9 holes.

Balmoral Woods professional Mr Bill Abrams, and his staff were awarded the 2011 Ping golf regional fitter of the year award. Bill also custom fits Titleist, Tour Edge, and is a Master Professional for US Kids Golf.
