Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane have been named to the NHL’s All Star team.  This year’s All Star Game will take place in Ottawa on Jan. 29th.

Toews ranks 13th in scoring in the NHL, with 22 goals and 20 assists.

Hossa is 7th in the league in scoring with 17 goals and 28 assists.

Kane, who has struggled scoring this year, still ranks 27th in the league with 10 goals and 28 assists.

Many Blackhawks observers (myself included) think Kane hasn’t earned the All Star nod this season.  He’s gone long stretches without a goal, and has been fairly invisible many nights.  Regardless, even at 70% effort, Kane is a top 20 talent in the league.
