(CBS) The Bears announced Tuesday that they have completed an interview with Jimmy Raye for their vacant general manager position.
Raye is currently the San Diego Chargers Director of Player Personnel. He’s the second candidate to interview for the job after Patriots Director of Player Personnel Jason Licht interviewed Monday.
Raye is in charge of the Chargers’ college and pro scouting. He previously served as the director of college scouting from 2000-2007.
The Bears also plan on interviewing Chiefs director of college scouting Phil Emery and Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross.
