(WSCR) The usually-durable Derrick Rose missed his second game of the season Monday and it appears he’ll likely miss Tuesday’s game.

Rose is working to come back from a sprained tow suffered one week ago. He’s also battling a sinus infection and an adverse reaction to pain medication.

“Derrick is always going to error on the side of trying to play,” K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune told The McNeil and Spiegel Show. “I know he gets a big reputation of being a tough guy and he is incredibly tough, but he’s also not dumb. He tried to play (Monday.) He warmed up, went through his normal warm up and said it didn’t feel right. … If you’re asking me to guess, I’m guessing he’ll sit tonight.”
