CHICAGO (CBS) – The Chicago Bears don’t have to worry about offensive coordinator Mike Tice leaving to coach the Oakland Raiders.

Tice won’t be interviewing for the Raiders’ vacant head coaching job, the Bears announced Monday.

Last week, the Raiders sought permission to interview Tice for the job, but they have already moved on with the second phase of their interview process without talking to Tice, the Bears said Monday.

Tice was named the Bears’ offensive coordinator earlier this month after Mike Martz resigned.
