Bowen Reflects On Playing In Playoffs

(WSCR) Both the 49ers and Ravens were seemingly one play away from playing in the Super Bowl.

A missed field goal by the Ravens and a fumbled punt by the 49ers ultimately led to each team's demise and elimination from the playoffs.

Matt Bowen, who suffered a similiar loss during his rookie season in St. Louis, joined The Boers and Bernstein Show to talk about the heartbreak of losing in the playoffs.

"Everyone is kind of numb when you get to the locker room," Bowen said. "A lot of guys aren't talking. You get to the bus, you get to the plane, everyone is kind of quiet because you realize that it's hard to have those opportunities. It's hard enough to get into the playoffs, but when you're in a position to win a game and advance to the next round, you're not guaranteed to be in that same position ever again."
