Pa Governor Offered Advice Before Vote To Fire Paterno
(WSCR) Minutes before the 32-member board of trustees voted to fire head football coach Joe Paterno on Nov. 9, Gov. Tom Corbett offered a piece of advice to the board.
"Remember that little boy in the shower," Corbett said via speakerphone.
That quote was the last thing the board heard before making the decision to fire Paterno after 61 years at Penn State.
