All-Clear Given After Bomb Threat At South Side School

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A high school in the Englewood neighborhood was briefly evacuated Thursday morning after receiving a bomb threat, but a search turned up no danger.

Hope College Prep High School, at 5515 S. Lowe Av., was evacuated around 10:50 a.m. after a bomb threat was made, police said.

Chicago Public Schools officials said no bomb was found and a fire marshal had given the all-clear shortly before noon.
