CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was recovering Friday morning after being shot several times in the Northwest Side’s Avondale neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 12:15 a.m. in the 3400 block of North Pulaski Road, just north of where Milwaukee Avenue crosses the thoroughfare, police said.

The 22-year-old victim was riding his bicycle when two male shooters opened fire, polic said.

The victim as shot in the right leg and left buttock, and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

No one was in custody early Friday.
