Tim Ruskell Out As Bears Director Of Player Personnel

(CBS) Tim Ruskell will not be retained as the Bears director of player personnel.

The Bears confirmed Monday that Ruskell and the organization have mutually agreed to part ways.

670 The Score’s Zach Zaidman first reported that Ruskell was out. The news comes on the heels of the Bears naming Phil Emery their new general manager Saturday.

Ruskell was an in-house candidate for the GM job and received an interview, but was not a finalist. He spent two years with the Bears after serving as the Seattle Seahawks general manager from 2005-09.

    Praise Jesus!

Some are reporting this as a “mutual parting of ways”, which, if that’s the case, the Bears are cowards. Just announce that you’ve fired his arse!
