Senior builder Dave Specha calls it a "dream job." He says it requires creativity and a childlike imagination.

"They definitely have to be basically still a Lego kid at heart," he said. "They really do have to have an ability to work with kids and work with the people who visit our center; really be creative and have an artist's eye and a touch."

Applicants must submit their résumés and a one-minute YouTube video showing their qualifications. All applicants must be 18 or older.

Applications for the job are being taken online through Feb, 17, and the 10 finalists will square off, building models at the center on March 4.

During the build-off, applicants will be given mountains of pre-selected Legos, and will need to build complex Lego models using only those bricks. Panels of adults and children will judge the creations.

The winner of the job will be announced a short time later.
