Continued Clouds, Light Snow Coming For Afternoon

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Snow will be blowing into the Chicago in the afternoon, on this Tuesday that actually feels pretty much like February.

CBS 2 Meteorologist Megan Glaros says conditions will remain cloudy in the latter half of the day, and snow will likely start in the afternoon. But the snow will likely be limited to light flurries or snow showers.

Little, if any, snow will accumulate, Glaros says.

The high for the day is a season-appropriate 35 degrees, with more light snow coming as the overnight low drops to 29.

On Wednesday, a mix of clouds and sun will take over as cold high-pressure system comes through, and the high stalls out at 32. The high returns to 39 on Thursday.

But on Friday and Saturday, spill some water on the sidewalk and you'll have a patch of ice that won't go anywhere. The high for Friday is a mere 28, and for Saturday 27.

But it is February, after all.
