BARTLETT, Ill. (STMW) – A man was shot twice in the head at a northwest suburban nightclub early Sunday, around the same time that he was observed arguing with someone in the foyer of the club, police said.

At approximately 3 a.m. Sunday, the Bartlett Police Department responded to the Cadillac Ranch, 1175 Lake Street, for a person who had been shot, police said.

Responding officers found a man in his early 20s with two gunshot wounds to his head. They later learned he had suffered a single gunshot wound to back of the head. The second injury caused when he fell to the ground, police said.

The Bartlett Fire Protection District treated the victim at the scene and a Flight for Life helicopter took him to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, police said. The man has since been upgraded from critical condition to stable condition.

Witnesses told police it appeared the victim was arguing with someone in the foyer of the Cadillac Ranch at the time of the shooting. As of Sunday afternoon police did not know the nature of the argument and no one was in custody.

The Cadillac Ranch is open until 4 a.m. on Saturdays, according to the club’s website.

Police are asking that anyone who may have information regarding this shooting call the Bartlett Police Department Investigations Unit, at (630) 837-0846.

My friends and I, along with many others frequent this establishment every weekend. Their food, dance lessons, the dance instructors, the staff, Moretti’s restaurnt… all of quality!
Though I hate to stero type and “blame the music” change,… when it goes from Country to house/dance music,.. the crowd changes too,… and yes we leave.

This is a sad day, for the victum, and family as well as the rest of us who enjoy going out for a few laughs, giggles and dancing.

i know I speak for many of us who hope this will not leave a negitive aura on a place that has brought mnay good times to so many.

You mean the colored people right?
Seriously, who goes to a club thinking that it’s a good idea to bring their unregistered pistol which they have no idea to shoot? What a world!

This is a direct and predictable result of the war on drugs. It is exactly what happened during alcohol prohibition. The war on drugs was planned to give your owners more power over you. Wake up!!

Did the victim’s eardrums suffer damage? Did the shooter use a silencer? More details please.
