(CBS) – Family and invited friends and colleagues gathered Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey for the funeral service of pop superstar Whitney Houston.

The 48-year-old Houston died last Saturday at a Beverly Hills hotel on the day before the Grammy Awards.

The cause of her death has not yet been determined.

Among the celebrities at the funeral were Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick, her ex-husband Bobby Brown, R. Kelly, and the couple’s 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.
