Cubs Bryd Gets New Ink & Diet

(WSCR) The Cubs front office wasn't the only thing that got a makeover this offseason.

Cubs outfielder Marlon Byrd showed up to spring training with a new tattoo covering most of his right arm with excerpts from President Theodore Roosevelt's iconic "Man in the Arena" speech from 1910.

The veteran outfielder also has dropped 20 pounds after doctors switched him to a new diet when he was diagnosed with Celiac disease after the 2011 season.
