(WSCR) There’s nothing like a throwing a dead fish onto the middle of an ice rink to honor a loved one who has passed away.

Right?

Well, according to this report, Canadian hockey fan Joey Smith decided to bring a five-pound salmon to the Canucks game on Saturday in hopes of honoring his deceased friend. The fish was vacuum-sealed and flattened beneath his sweater and jeans.

The report indicates Smith wanted to throw the fish onto the ice to honor his friend, who passed away in an ATV accident.
