CTA Rider Sexually Assaulted On Red Line Train
CHICAGO (CBS) – A 26-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on a Red Line Train early Friday by an armed robber, Chicago police said.
The victim was riding southbound on a Red Line between Roosevelt Road and 79th Street shortly before 5 a.m. when she was sexually assaulted and robbed by a man armed with a knife.
The offender, who was wearing a black hooded jacket and all black clothing, fled the train at the 87th Street station, police said in a community alert.
