Police: Man Bothered Boy, Dropped Porn Magazine On His Doorstep

RICHTON PARK, Ill. (CBS) -- Police in Richton Park say a man first started bothering a 10-year-old boy to the point where he decided to go inside his house, then dropped a porn magazine on the boy's front doorstep.

This past Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., a man walked up to the boy in the 5100 block of Arquill Drive in Richton Park after watching the boy play basketball, police said.

The man stopped and said "hi" to the boy. But the boy said he did not feel comfortable around the man and went inside his home to get away.

A few moments later, the man placed a pornographic magazine on the front porch of the boy's house and began walking away towards Neil Armstrong School, police said.

The suspect is described as African-American, about 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black coat over a brown hoodie, brown shoes and blue jeans with brown trim.

Anyone with information should call police at (708) 283-6393, ext. 230.
