By Jay Zawaski-

No one is pretending that all is well on Planet Blackhawk.

After a nine game losing streak, then another three game losing streak, there are certainly problems at the Madhouse.

The star players haven’t been good enough.  Stan Bowman didn’t do enough at the trade deadline.  No one is without blame, including head coach Joel Quenneville, who has failed to fix his special teams, either personnel wise or strategy wise.

Well what goes around comes around…just like Big Bowman did with Q when Savvy was still here, he sneaks a former Coach on the ice to “sniff” around to see if he can find ways to improve the powerplay. Dont think for a moment thats the real intent here. Bowman (big one or little one) are snakes when it comes to allegiance—Q is on the way out with this move of bringing a former asst Coach to Big bowmans to sniff around the ice during practice. Its the same thing he did to Savvy…bring around your replacement before you’ve even been fired.

Q is history, probably after this season unless there is a stellar drive to a second round of the playoffs between now (Ottawa) and then.

Its the Bowman prescription for snakery. They have allegiance to nothing or no one, which sometimes can be good. Q has lost control of this teams psyche. The talent drain can be blamed on little Bowman, but Q’s in ability to pull them out of downward spirals and funks, even with a Team Psychologist on board, speaks volumes to his ineptness as a Leader. Nice he got to 600 wins fast, but that also involved a few firings along the way. Anyone could have won with the talent he inherited from Talon and Savvy. Now he’s short a bit with talent and he hasnt a clue how to motivate men to win.
