CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was shot dead Friday night in the South Side Fuller Park neighborhood.

The 37-year-old man — identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Quentin Johnson — was sitting in a vehicle about 11 p.m. in the 200 block of East 55th Place when a male shot at him from another vehicle, striking him in the chest and back, police said.

He was pronounced dead at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 11:35 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

No one is in custody early Saturday and Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
