(WSCR) Moreso than any player over the past decade, Clipper Darrell has been a staple at Clippers games.

Through thick and thin Darrell Bailey has been attending Clippers games dressed in a red and blue suit, cheering on his favorite team and loving the Los Angeles Clippers will his whole heart.

Recently, however, the Clippers have asked that Bailey drop his ‘Clipper’ name after 11 seasons and simply be known as Darrell Bailey.

In a TV interview, Clipper Darrell breaks down as he discusses the on-going situation with the Clippers organization.

Check out the video below.

Get your priorities straight, buddy. Mothers are losing their sons & daughters in Iraq and this guy has the nerve to just totally break down in front of millions on the news because he can’t be called “Clipper Darrell” anymore? Shameful.

I at least take some solace in knowing that he is, without question, a virgin.

Leave the poor guy alone! This guy getting emotional does not diminish what our boys’ and their families sacrifice for our nation.

Like myself and most meatballs that peruse this sight, we’re all just a big kid inside. Sports give poor turds like us an outlet in our otherwise mostly-inconsequential lives. His joy or sadness doesn’t harm you. He just loves his team.

And if I had any financial or rooting interest in the red-headed stepchild of the LA sports scene AKA the Clippers, I’d give this guy a lifetime season ticket pass just to not see him jump on the bandwagon of the real NBA team in LA.
