Man Shot At Aurora House Party

AURORA, Ill. (STMW) - A man was shot early Saturday during a house party in unincorporated west suburban Aurora.

Kane County Sheriff deputies and Aurora police officers responded about 3 a.m. to a call of shots fired at a home in the 500 block of South Sumner, according to a county release.

A 21-year-old man was found shot inside the home, the release said. Another 21-year-old man was initially reported to be shot but he was not injured. Both men were taken with non-life threatening injuries to Copley Hospital in Aurora.

No one else was injured at the home, where a party was occurring, the release said. It has not been determined if the shooting was gang-related.

No one is in custody.
