Blackhawks, Carcillo Agree To 2-Year Extension

(CBS) The Blackhawks and injured forward Daniel Carcillo agreed to a two-year contract extension Monday.

Carcillo played in 28 games this year before suffering a season-ending ACL tear. He recorded 11 points (two goals, nine assists), 82 penalty minutes and a +10 plus/minus before getting hurt.

The five-year veteran originally signed a one-year deal with the Blackhawks last July.

They’re looking at his +10. I hope that was worth it.

LOVE IT!!! Now that he won’t have to worry about where he’s going to be the next season, or next game for that matter, maybe that will take some of the edge off his aggressive play that gets him into trouble with calls for bad hits. Aside from that, he’s been a terrific addition. Welcome back, Car Bomb!

I don’t understand this at all….they fire a GM who had nothing but Great Hockey experience and who built the 2010 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS and wer’e not happy what Tallon did in giving contracts, going overboard an now they let this idiot Bowman Jr who’s one…an even bigger idiot then what I originally figured. STAN BOWMAN is the biggest idiot of a GM with no hockey experience this guy Bowman has got to go
