Man Critically Wounded In Drive-By Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was critically wounded during a drive-by shooting Wednesday in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.
The 34-year-old man was sitting on the front porch of a home in the 6300 block of South Wolcott Avenue at 7:43 p.m. when a vehicle drove past and someone inside began firing, police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety said.
The man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the back.
No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
