CHICAGO (STMW) – A man and woman were found dead Saturday morning at a home near northwest suburban Marengo.

Sheriff’s police responded at 8:18 a.m. to a home in the 24500 block of Grant Highway in unincorporated Marengo and found Kristen A. Harshbarger, 24 and Douglas R. Foxx, 59, dead in an out building on the property, according to a release from the McHenry County Sheriff’s office.

Evidence at the scene indicated the wounds were both self-inflicted, the release said. Foul play is not suspected and residents are not in jeopardy.

McHenry County Sheriff’s police and the McHenry County Coroner’s office are investigating.
