(CBS) Don’t expect to see Bulls guard Richard Hamilton back in the lineup anytime soon.
Out since he suffered a right shoulder injury March 5, Hamilton told the Chicago Tribune that he only recently became able to lift his arm over his head.
“Not yet man,” he told the newspaper when asked when he might return. “We’re taking it a day at a time. We’re trying to improve and not have any setbacks. I’m getting better each and every day. That’s the good thing.”
Hamilton said he’s eying the playoffs, which are still about a month and a half away.
“My biggest thing is getting out there for the playoffs,” Hamilton said. “I know how the playoffs are. You never want to be in a situation where you start playing right when the playoffs start. You want a full head of steam going into it. That’s why I want to get out there.”
