PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) -- Felix Hernandez allowed seven earned runs over five innings in his final spring training start and the Seattle Mariners were roughed up by the Chicago White Sox 13-8 Wednesday.

King Felix gave up 10 hits in five innings and eight runs overall. He struck out four, walked one and hit a batter. He threw 92 pitches, 56 for strikes. Hernandez's next start is scheduled to come March 28, when the Mariners open the season against the Oakland Athletics in Tokyo.

The Mariners leave for Japan Thursday and will play two exhibition games there before the opener.

Left-hander Eric Stults gave up two runs and five hits for the White Sox. He struck out two and walked one in four innings.

Brent Lillibridge hit two doubles off Hernandez. The Mariners' Ichiro Suzuki hit a solo home run, his second of the spring, off Stults in the first inning.
